Short biography

Alexander Dmitriev is the owner and lead artist of Arc Faber ltd. He was born in St. Petersburg (Leningrad) in 1956 and graduated as an artist-architect from the Academy of Arts in Leningrad in 1982.

Since 1984 he has been working as an architect in Helsinki, Finland, among the others in the offices of Ilmo Valjakka, Esko Kahri and Promarc. He has participated in the restoration projects of historical hotels Metropol, Moscow and Astoria, St. Petersburg.

In 1994 Alexander Dmitriev founded his own company Arc Faber and has designed a number of public and private interiors and mural paintings. He is also a qualified watercolorist and has had several exhibitions in Finland.
